About Me

My name is Ellie Penhollow. I was born and raised in Cornwall, which has always been my home.En Kenya, me eath tha'n StertpoyntI am a 19 year old left wing trans woman and have been involved in political work since the age of 14.Through this work, I have volunteered for Toll Free Tamar, served as South West Vice Chair of Breakthrough, and been a member of the Cornwall Green Party Executive.Alongside my political work, I am also a published author.I write Cornish language learning books for children.I have struggled with my own mental health in the past, which led me to become a mental health campaigner.After the death of my best friend last year, I became even more committed to raising awareness of mental health and supporting others.
